Support for local FLAC files for the linux client

This feature has been available in Android, iOS, Windows, and OSX clients for years.
Technically, the app can play FLAC, but .flac files are ignored.
This only occurs in the Linux client.
Please fix this.

Huge thanks to the Spotify team for bringing lossless FLAC audio support to the official Spotify client for Linux! I'm glad to see their support for Linux is not forgotten! High-fidelity streaming is a game changer!

Frustrating that Spotify exclude 1 platform while the rest get this feature... I don't main linux, but i'm planning to switch in the near future. And the lack of .flac means I have to re-encode all my existing files so that I can continue to use them on Spotify.

I get Linux doesn't hold a huge market share but it's still unfair to exclude it from this simple feature.

I cannot understand Spotifys attitude of complete disregard, which has now lasted for years. There was never an official statement to that topic since years. I really like the rest of the service spotify delivers, but hey, it's a small step to go to quobuz or Tidal, even though i would prefer to stay. Isn't it frustrating to have to resort to such “threats” just to hopefully get an answer, or better yet, a solution? I don't like doing that and have smarter things to do. And how naive of me to hope that anyone at Spotify would care. Shame on me. I am frustrated, and yes thats actually the biggest problem in my life :-)..
