[iOS] Implement Native HomePod Support

Just this week at WWDC (June 22, 2020), Apple announced support for third party music services on the HomePod.  I'm requesting that Spotify implement native support for the HomePod such that one or even multiple HomePods will appear in the "Connect to a device" menu on any Apple device WITHOUT having to connect through Airplay.  This will also allow users to ask Siri to play songs from Spotify on their HomePod(s). 

Apple is opening up the HomePod, and I know there are many other HomePod users that would love to have native Spotify support on their speaker.

Sure, starting with HomePod OS Version 14.2 you choose another Default-App for Music: https://www.macstories.net/news/switching-your-default-homepod-music-service-to-pandora/

Its basically the same as Apple did with iOS 14 where you can change also default Browser and default Mail Client. The Apps which can be Default must be ready for it and also needs some "apple Approvement" to be a default app.

So i guess, as soon as the Spotify App is ready, you can just choose it to be the default. Please correct me if im wrong.

Funny that Spotify demanded Apple to level the field for music streaming services.

I don't understand why now, that Apple allows Spotify to control the HomePod, Spotify hasn't made the move.

Could someone on Spotify comment?

I am considering to give up and move to Apple Music, but I need to know what are Spotify future plans!!
