[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Even the best recent opportunity (launch of iOS 11) isn't enough to step up to the plate and do the right thing.

 Waze has recently rolled out Spotify integration in their Waze GPS/crowdsource traffic app, and finally I can control my Spotify when the phone is in landscape orientation inside the Waze app.  It's a workaround until Spotify gets their Sh!ts together and implement landscape orientation in their own app, but for now, it's the best thing available.  I drive around with the Waze app always open for traffic, accident & speed trap updates, so having the Spotify integration within the app is great!  If you haven't used Waze before, try it out.  It's free to use.

If you don't want to use Waze or the battery drain that is GPS for a work
around:
1. start spotify like normal and press the home button
2. swipe up to open the Control Center
3. swipe left to go to the now playing list
this view works in landscape.

The Spotify-Waze link does not seem to work with Spotify in offline mode though.

Hey complainers. We wanted to update this idea again as we know it has such a high number of votes. While we do like this idea it is still 'Not Right Now’. Unfortunately, the teams responsible for implementation of this idea are either stubborn and lazy and don’t care about customer input, or don’t have sufficient iOS coding skills to pull this off. Please rest assured we will continue to string you along with the idea that they will eventually come around and implement this idea. Don’t give up hope... after all it took years of nagging for this feature to be added to android. In the meantime, please accept this coddling email in lieu of tangible results. I bet monkeys will write Shakespeare's entire works before the coders/planners implement this. 

Utterly disappointed with this lack of progress regards this issue. 

As far as I'm concerned- this app is broken until this is fixed.

Come on, I realise this is not necessarily simple, but at minimum we should have a landscape mode for the Now Playing page. Ideally we need landscape for everything, but it isnt that hard to create a basic page just for the Now playing mode....

E.g. put the track cover on the left, progress at the bottom, and left/right/pause on the right hand side. Even better make the whole UI work in landscape, but as I said, a quick win delivery would be just for the Now Playing page.
