Hey everybody!
I'm a music enthusiast always searching for new indie/alternative tracks and playlists. If you are too, then this is the place for you to discover, share and indulge in some good music. Here for some recommendations? I'd love if you'd be able to take a look at some of my playlists, I've linked one down below (my pride and joy to be exact). Feel free to share some of yours too!
Cheers 🙂

Fellow Music Admirers,
I listened to some of the suggestions on this thread. Feel the Way I Do by The Jungle Giants is very modern Arctic Monkeys. That said, I love Arctic Monkeys, so I liked it a lot. I have a few Indie suggestions too. If you're into more of the rock side than alternative, Des Rocs has some great stuff. If you like your rock with some alternative, Violet City by Mansionair is very good.
I also have another rock band suggestion, but it's not really indie anymore. They have an album from this year though and it's really good, so I figured I'd drop their name anyway. Bullet For My Valentine has some great songs, especially The Very Last Time. Their entire new album is worth a listen though.
I hope this helps someone,

However a newbie on Spotify, as a kid I was already addicted to listen at rare music!
Saw Kraftwerk "the founders of Electrorock" life in Groningen when they did one of their last show in Holland in the original groupsetting about 30 years ago!
Since then looking at Alternative/Rock/Etronic nice ballads too etc, etc.
So listening to others suggetions is a good option to discover new sounds 😉
On my PC I've about 12.000 mp3 downloaded.
Before I found loads of new artists and songs true sites like BIRP etc.
Note: I hardly don't find my music anymore in BIRP lately 😟
Now creating new playlists here. Using Spotify, Shazam, Pitchfork, Indieshuffle, OOR (album reviews), etc to discover music.
My lists are growing every day. The first is 1400 songs. Not making them bigger then this! I started with a second one. Those lists have besides rock also quite some easy listening (indie) songs, because my wife is listening as well, she loves Leonard Cohen for instance 😉
Interested search on; ROBs MEGAlist
The one (growing every day) with the more rock songs in it is
on 1 oct 2018 it contains more then 400 songs already.
You will find some older songs as well.
If I may do do a suggestion, listen to the following two songs from former Dutch bands.
Could be so that You've never heard of them or You're an elderly Dutch 😀
Thanks for your contributions anyway.

Based on that sludgy indie rock sound, as heard by jack white / white stripes, a collection of songs that fit this vibe, give it a follow and let me know what you think!
Hey people,
Thx for your new contributions, wasn't able to listen to all jet, but I will.
I started with the others who already put their info/ lists here. Did a cuick look at your playlists as mentioned and already found loads of unknown artists and dito songs. So there is a lot for me to explore on 😉
Of course we've a lot in common, because we more or less like the same type of music. But that's why it is nice to discuss it as well.
Like about the term INDIE which is still used, but quite some formal indie bands like Arcade Fire, Dead Cab for Cuty, etc are not really independent anymore, but that's the way it goes, so I don't care! Music is music. They give way to new alternative artists.
By the way heard of The Charlatans aka Charlatans UK (formated 30 yrs ago). I've quite some songs from this very expressive band
Enjoy!
A rather new song of them
Hi There,
I am a new artist and would love for you to have a listen to my songs.
