Premium users hearing ads

We've received reports that active Premium users are hearing ads interrupting their listening experience.

Hey folks,

 

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

This should now be fixed. If you're still having issues, remember to log out of the app and back in again 2-3 times in a row in order to force a resync.

I've just started heading ads today!

Tried logging in and out, force closed, changed passwords, rebooted... Nothing works. 

It just started for me today, same like many others. Not good enough as it looks like it's been going for a month or so.

 

Had premium for years now, this isn't terrible, but it's certainly not a way to treat paying customers. 

 

Surely you have a huge database of members and their account subscriptions. 

Can't be that hard to refresh and sort it out 

Dont lose your premium membership customers to other platforms.

I am having the same issue as well, on my phone and on my pc

Still getting ads while listening to music. I have tried all suggestions to fix it including uninstalling and reinstalling

Just started getting ads today. Very disruptive. Cleared cache, logged out/in multiple times and force stop app. Did not fix the issue

Chat with agent: bot is limiting just to charge issues. this morning 39 minutes waiting time. ads still airing. you definitely should think about a refund, not just telling us to restart the app. We paid for no ads.

Just tried the solution on the Premium Users Hearing Ads thread about logging out and back in a few times to resync the account, and it does seem to have resolved it for me 🤞 I did tried linking to an Alexa speaker, and looked like it was broken doing that... but disabling the skill and relinking my account fixed it on that side too

No matter what I've done the ads don't go away. It's tragic, and from what I can see it's been a problem for 1 month or more.... Should we go to another platform?
