Podcasts not updating

My favorite podcasts have not been updating for over a week, despite episodes being posted on other platforms. These include such podcasts as Around the NFL (last updated on Spotify 9/18) and NFL Fantasy Live (9/18 as well).

Cannot play podcast on iPad

Why can't iPad play podcast on iPad? I have checked it with evey iPad users I know. They all report the same thing. Spotify cannot play podcast on iPad.
