My Question or Issue

I use the web player at work since my work blocks spotify traffic from the app. When I try to right click on a playing track and select "add to playlist" the popup after that only has 2-3 of my playlists in it. No ability to scroll. It's missing almost all of my playlists as options.

Hey there @ecarl65,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this. No worries - help's on the way!

This is odd. I'd first off recommend taking a look at the steps under Not working? in this article. You could also try using the player in the application mode of the Google Chrome browser to see if that makes a difference. Here's how:

  1. Open our web player.
  2. Click on the menu button (the three vertical dots) on the top right portion of the window of your browser.
  3. Click on More Tools > Create shortcut.
  4. Set a name for the application and check the option Open as Window then click on Create.

If the issue persist, it'd be great if you could confirm whether all of your playlists appear in the menu on the left of the web player? If they do, you can just drag and drop any track into the desired playlists.

In case you can't see all of your playlists you might be logged in to the wrong account. Check out this support page to find out if you have more than one account.

Hope this helps! Let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the feedback. So opening it in the application mode helped ... a
little. I can now see all of my playlists, and I was able to add it to one
of the playlists I created. However, a shared playlist (to which I can add
songs in the app or in the standalone desktop app) is present but it does
nothing when I click on it to add it to the playlist.

Furthermore, I've tried dragging and dropping tracks to playlists. It works
about 10% of the time. Usually if it works it's the first time I try to do
it in a session. After that it no longer works for other tracks or
playlists or even the same playlists. Perhaps that should be a separate
ticket/issue?
