BMW integration - Only by USB but... ? (BT/USB dongle)

Hi,

I can connect Spotify to my BMW, by the following means

- either by BT, very simple and automated, but actions with the BMW interface are very limited (only previous/next track) - With Android or iOS

- or by wired USB, and in this case BMW 'Connected Drive' is able to navigate in my playlists, able to mark a song with "like" / "don't like", album covers diplayed. Well, a more pleasant experience, but as mentioned above: USB wired only, and iOS only.

So, I was wondering if a BT dongle plugged into the USB port (located under the armchair) could be ok: my iOS device will be wireless connected, but will communicate through the USB port.

Does anyone already tried this?
