This A/V reciever specially has a spotify app, but it won't let me log in to it. I keep getting an error message. I can log in fine on my iphone and desktop. Here is my model. Onkyo HT-S7409. It doesn't let me log in through facebook with it, which does on my other apps. Anyway around this? Thanks!

When I go to

it just forwards me to edit my profile and is of no help whatsoever.
The only reason I even GOT Spotify premium was to use it on my Onkyo. Why do I even have to create a completely different login and password for my Onkyo? This is beyond silly.
I also cannot logon using my onkyo.
I have retrieved my username and password for loging in without FB details and when try to logon using the Onkyo amp it sayd that I should visit spotify.com and password is incorrect. This is strange as i can use the same username and password combo to logon using my iphone or mac

I'm not exactly sure how the Onkyo system works but is it possible to completely remove and then reinstall the Spotify application or anything like that?

it does not it has one capital letter, several lower case letters and a numeric
Very strange, and you are logging in using your set device password and your Spotify username which should be a string of 10 digits if you have a Facebook created account?

correct username is 10 digits. I can login to my iphone and laptop using the 10 digit username and the password which contains an upper case letter, lower case letters and a numeric.
Are you connecting to the internet on the onkyo through cable or using WiFi?
Just running down issues I have seen before, sorry if its a lot of questions.

thank you so much for the assistance. I checked the system and although cable was wired there was a USB dongle intserted and pickiing up wireless.
