My Question or Issue

Every day I get a cookie request on my screen when I open spotify. I want to reject all cookies, but I don't need to be asked every day. It's been this way for a month or so.

As we haven't seen such reports on the forum recently, we'd recommend checking out Spotify's cookie policy and following the link under Options for managing cookies and interest-based ads to manage your current settings. 

In case you still get a pop-up afterwards, it'd be really helpful if you can send us a screenshot so that we can have a closer look.

My wife, two friends of mine and I also have this problem. But ‘strangely’ it only appears for people who reject cookies... The problem does not occur with anyone else in my group of friends and colleagues who have simply accepted the cookies.

My Question or Issue

I was requested to update my cookie settings in the app at least 10 times this year, sometimes even multiple times per week. 

I do not see why a native app needs to store 3rd party cookies unless it’s a malware app from the start.

If I state that I don’t want unnecessary cookies from being stored that is my stance and I will not change it even if spotify try’s to trick me into a confirmation.

This issue occurs for me every time I open Spotify, including web and smartphone app, regardless of whether I accept or not. It's become exhausting. I am not using blocking. Either accept my consent or don't but don't keep asking the same question over and over.

Well, now I haven't had a popup in 10 days  so maybe the problem went away. I didn't do anything new.

I will get back to you if the popups return.
