Filter "Your Music"

I realize it's wishful thinking at this point to expect Spotify to simply enable you to search within music added to the "Your Music" section. This seems like gross oversight - why eliminate the search/filter function that was so useful in exploring my personal library, especially if it still exists for browsing local files. I can't hold out hope for a solution any longer, but can someone at least tell me why they Powers That Be broke this feature in the redesign?

Which application are you using? If it's the desktop app, you can filter in the "Songs" tab by pressing Ctrl/Cmd+f.

Okay, but what about on the iPhone? I don't see a way to filter Your Music for that.

Currently you cannot filter Your Music in the iPhone app. The app developers are working on adding filters for a future update.

Im just appalled that they didn't add it there by default. Why would you have the search filter only on playlists? It doesnt make any sense.

Now that the songs column has basically replaced the starred feature, and some people (including me) depend very much on this feature, it means that eventually the songs list is bound to have so many songs in it that finding a song in it without search filter is gonna be impossible.

If you mean the Songs section under Your Music, once there all you have to do is hit Ctrl+f or better yet when in Songs go to Edit upper left hand corner click it, select filter option on the options menu. I mean yeah it would be nice if there was already a search window there but it doesn't take more than a few seconds to get the filter search to open there?

The Your Music team did say they were going to make it the same (feature wise) as the android version, which does have filtering and sorting. So hopefully it will be added in the future!
