Get rid of the "picked for you" podcasts

My Question or Issue

You need to get rid of this 'Picked for you' podcasts that take up half the screen and start auto playing, on the home page.
Or at the verrrrrrrrrrrryyyy least, add an option to say 'not interested' so it doesn't keep re-playing every time I open the app.
These are just fully irrelevant podcasts.

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

Unfortunately, at the moment there isn't a way to manage or remove sections such as "Picked for you" that appear on the Home screen.

However, I think that this is an excellent suggestion, and there are currently a couple of relevant Live Ideas in the Idea Exchange:

• delete from home screen
• [All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

If either of these ideas are of interest, I’d recommend adding your +VOTE to them (even though the current status of the second idea I mentioned is "Not Right Now"). The more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it, and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.

Yeah I'm 3 seconds away from heading over to the ol' YouTube because of the inability to get this off my phone, or any of the 'picked for you' suggestions. We have to go vote on another post and raise awareness of the issue to get something removed that's obviously a BAD idea? Is this supposed to improve the likelihood for people to watch this content? Mine is playing sports podcasts and I don't watch sports. This feature appears to have been enabled to artificially inflate the view counts of podcasts and other content to bring people over to the platform? That's the very first thing that came to my mind. Why is this a thing, who voted for it?
