I can't cast Spotify to Google volume group

I have a couple of google speakers ("Nest" series) and they are configured in Google App under the same volume group ("Speakers"), I see the volume group in the devices list and I hear a "connection beep" from both speakers but the music won't start and resumes to the default speaker.
I tried on:
1. Android.
2. Google Chrome Browser.
3. Spotify Desktop App (Win 10).

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please try the following:

• Starting the playback using a voice command.
• Connect the speakers to a different internet connection like a hotspot on your phone.
• Reset the speakers and re-configure them in the Google Home app.
