Local files keeps dissapearing frequently

The problem with the local files is getting worse. Not only that the smart shuffle keeps breaking the local files, now they dissapear for no reason every singe day even if I don't click on the smart shuffle. 
I am not sure why this keeps happening and I reinstalled the whole app but this is just super annoying.

The issue with local files disappearing seems to only be present on your device; it has not appeared on any of the ones we have on our end and we're not getting any other similar Community reports.

Do all local files disappear or just a portion of them? If all of them disappear without you changing any settings, how do you get them back?

And to start some troubleshooting here - check if removing the app's cached data would make a difference.
If the issue persists after this - try performing a complete clean reinstall of the app. Note that it is different than the regular reinstall as the process involves more steps.
