Music Files Not Opening With TV Remote

Have Spotify app on TV which has worked perfectly for years. Lately, I load Spotify and can toggle between music genres and albums - highlighting each album or playlist. However, when I press ok on the remote - nothing happens.WiFi is correctly connected, remote batteries are new. What is happening?

Would you mind giving the steps listed under TV app not working? on this page a shot? It's possible that they'll help in your case.

Shouldn't that do the trick, however, could you try signing in to another Spotify account on your TV to see if it behaves in the same way? For example, you can ask a friend or a family member to sign in to their own account on the TV.

It would also be great to know the make, model and software version of the device.
