Need to switch device 3 times to get the switch happen

My Question or Issue

Each time I change device to be connected (Spotify Connect on Yamaha R-N303D) I had to redo it 3 times (switching back to "This computer") to get the switch happen. A few versions back it worked perfectly, the places of the devices did not change the connection to the router is strong.

To begin with, we recommend checking that the firmware on the stereo receiver is up-to-date, as well as the OS on your computer. Additionally, restart both devices and your router and check if that makes any difference.

If that doesn't help, try doing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app and check if the same thing happens with a different Internet connection.
