When you click Spotify URL's across the internet (on your phone), no matter the platform, they open a web interface instead of the app. Result is that you have to login, what nobody does. It would be much better if you launch the app on the phone directly OR if you have an "Open in Spotify App" button on the landing page to shift to the app instead of the web interface.
Hi @boblie8,
Thank you for posting on the Community!
We've moved your post to this help board as it fits better its content and because this feature is something you can already do.
The way that links are opened is related to your phone's settings. For example, when you open a new type of file/link for the first time, your phone will ask you which app you'd like to use.
In this case, you need to change the default app that will open a Spotify link. Depending on the operating system of your phone, these steps may change.
If you're not able to find these settings, please let us know the make, model and OS of your phone to further assist you.
We'll be on the lookout.
The best way to deal with this issue is for Spotify App developers to attempt to establish this setting when Spotify app is installed or upgraded. Most of the people are reluctant to making changes to the settings on their own. Making it happen out of the Spotify app will improve user experience
