Remove App Access via API

Remove App Access via API

Hi,

We're looking at integrating with the Spotify using the API.

We have authorization working with 'Code Flow', but would like to be able to remove our own access using the API.

We can delete our access tokens locally, but the app would still appear under the `Apps` section of the account.

Is there any way of revoking our own access?

Thanks.

Hey @Will78! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^

I know it sounds dumb. But have you tried to 'Revoke Access' on this page?

Or am I totally wrong on this?

Let me know how it goes! ^^

Peace

Hey Nico,

Thanks for the response.

I know the user can revoke access from that page, but is there any way for me, as the maker of that application, to remove access on their behalf to save them having to do this?

We'd like to add a button on our user page to allow them to unlink their account. If they do that and then still find the application on that page they may think we haven't been honest about unlinking.

Thanks!

Now I'm getting what you want. ^^

I've escalated your question to the support.

I will reply on this thread with an answer soon.

You can find more info over at Spotify for Developers. In this case, you can check this page or be sure to check here.

Peace

Thanks. I can see that someone has already asked the same question here.

Thanks for your help.
