All of the ads that come on are loud. To name a few, Chick-fil-A, Spotify, and Lowes.

All of the ads are very loud, to name a few Chick-fil-A, Spotify, and Lowes especially is extremely loud and annoying. I decided to switch to Pandora for a better listening experience.

Reason for complaint: Although all of my Amazon and Spotify options are set to English UK podcast ads on the Amazon Echo Spotify skill regularly play in (I think) Dutch.  This is not a problem on the phone or any other app.

I use Spotify Free in Germany and have received advertising for "Nius". I wonder why this right-wing indoctrinated institution  is being offered a platform. I find that absolutely inappropriate in these times. It would be a great pity if this advertising partner was not reconsidered. Just stay apolitical, please. That really doesn't work at all. Kind regards from a hopeful user who wants to assume cluelessness in your favor.

Advert keeps playing no matter how many times I use thumbs down or reason I give for thumbs down, it’s a political campaign that has been proven to be using false information and testimony “East Solano Plan”  by “California Forever”

Diversify your ads. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR THE EXACT SAME AD THREE TIMES BACK TO BACK. I immediately stop listening when an ad plays three times in a row. It poor ad management and lazy programming.

The Flitr US ads have music and then a spoken component. The music it twice as loud as what I was listening to, but then the spoken part is normal volume; then a second music component.

There’s this add that shows up while I listen to podcasts (sidenote: super lame that spotify premium does not extend to podcasts) Since it’s not one of those ads that interrupt music for those using a free version of spotify, I am unable to provide the name of the ad (as the banner remains the same) I can confirm that it is a spotify ad and not an internal ad that the podcast itself has added. And therefor I’m turning my grievance toward you (spotify) 

Since I do not know the name of the ad, and since I’ve never listened to it beyond 1-2 seconds, I’m unsure how to provide identifying markers beyond just describing those 1-2 seconds. 

The ad is in Swedish. It’s an ASMR style ad (and it makes me violently uncomfortable) It’s a woman whispering something about bathroom routines and then theres the sound of toothbrush bristles. And that’s as far as I’ve ever listened. 

for the love of god PLEASE remove the ad, or allow me to block it somehow!

There’s no musical intro or otherwise identifiable way to alert me to the ads presence prior to the woman’s voice whispering right in my ear. 

This ad makes me physically recoil. 
If you guys aren’t able to stop me from being subjected to this ad, then I will be forced to quit using your app. This is a dealbreaker ad for me

I've looked to see if this has been mentioned before, but haven't seen such,so ...

We have a new Smart TV, with WebOS, Spotify pre-installed with the unit. And after a month or so, the ads would freeze for a minute or so, before starting. The set would just sit completely silent, and then suddenly the playback of the ad would kick off. When the ads finished, then music playback would start straight after. For every ad break. Highly annoying, the app would still react to remote input, but would refuse to skip or otherwise play the ad properly. Only restarting on some other choice would break this behaviour ... until the next ad came up ...

Then a week or so ago, this pattern disappeared; ads played immediately, every time. Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint what happened, whether it was an update of the WebOS - there's a good chance this was the reason, though.

But the bad news is that bad behaviour started again, a few day ago - long delay before an ad comes to life.

I keep hearing an ad announcing the "Fall of Babylon" according to a prophesy from the Book of Revelations that will come true on October 9th. I have given it a thumbs-down at least 10 times per day. I have labeled it as offensive (to non-Christians) and as repeating too frequently. But it plays with the same frequency no matter what I do. Other ads that I have given the thumbs-up to (because they were less annoying) have not repeated at all. The thumbs- up or -down function seems to have no impact whatever.

those caramel cold brew m&m, the trolli gummies and the binaural reese's ads are frustratingly triggering as I cannot stand the sound of chewing and the sound of a voice in one ear and nothing playing in the other. normally I would take off my headphones to avoid discomfort but that isn't possible when I have my hands occupied with other things. I cannot snap my head forward to get my headphones off, that would break them. those ASMR ads that spiked a few months ago were really pissing me off as well.

another issue are those damned "today's top hits" ads or those generally repetitive "3 months free" "you're hearing this ad because you're on our spotify free plan" ads. I cannot listen to 2 songs without getting 5 of the same thing every time. if only the thumbs down button that was conveniently placed on every ad did something.
