When I search in the Spotify channel on my Roku I get a Error searching (code 16.1) message. I've restarted the device and unintalled and reinstalled the channel to no avail. Any thoughts? thanks.

Yep, search once again broken, as of yesterday.
Spotify app is no longer working on Roku. Understand that Spotify has updated their app. Last time they did that no adjustment was made for the Roku platform and people recieved error messages for a couple of weeks. Now it will just not connect. Others getting the same?
I've been able to search for tunes on Spotfiy Roku but now, for some reason, none of my playlists (except Starred) appear. Any ideas?
Last time this happened I think it had something to do with how Spotify updated their developer API, thus disabling some legacy API calls. Of course, this Spotify Roku app is so old and crotchety, that Spotify API evolution will gradually lose compatibility as no one seems to be taking responsibility at Spotify to maintain this Roku app and keep it updated.
Last time this happened, this thread helped Spotify hear our complaint, and they re-enabled the old API calls or something. The app started working again, without any updates to the app itself. Who knows if they will honor this again, I'm sure this move pissed off folks in their project management/software development department. Hopefully Spotify, or some lone ranger software developer will create a Roku app for Spotify that is well maintained.
I bet a Spotify software engineer could whip up a Roku app in a matter of hours, a few days max, and satisfy a LOT of customers who rely on Roku as their prime Spotify device.
And, I think we all can agree that the Spotify app for Roku sucks in general. It's really old, and given how nice thier desktop and mobile interfaces are, it would be great if they paid a little attention to the Roku interface.
i have been getting the error 16.1 for a week. still no resolution on my ROKU Spotify App.
