Smart Shuffle is not a replacement for Enhance button! Bring Enhance back

Enhance playlist is my most favorite feature on the entire app. It matches the vibes of my playlists pretty well, even very specific ones. I love the ability to preview the recommended songs and add or remove the ones I already know. However, now I have "smart shuffle" instead of, and it is a major downgrade from enhance. I don't like shuffling my playlists and I don't even know what songs were added and when they will play now (yes, I can go to the queue, but managing which songs to add and remove is much less convenient this way. And I don't want to shuffle). PLEASE bring the Enhance button back! I am very frustrated

What's worse, smart shuffle on my device doesn't. Even. Shuffle.

It just plays the same playlist in the original order. So frustrating! I use my playlist at the gym daily but can no longer shuffle and get recommendations at the same time. Also it messes up shuffle so that when i give up on recommendations and go to regular shuffle, it will leave only 5 songs in my queue then stop 

This is so broken and frustrating.... Hope someone pays attention to it.

Honestly! I can't stand it! Like you, I live for enhanced and I liked how added the song to your playlist added an extra 3 songs to match it... unlike you though, I love my playlist being on shuffle, but now if I want shuffle I can't have enhanced and if I want enhanced I can't have shuffle, it doesn't even make sense! I hope they fix it.... soon

Also it would be nice if I could search my playlist whilst enhanced is switched on, I'm still struggling to understand why that's even a thing?

Dude, same same on all what you said. Spotify is gearing to loose my 9.99 a month if I can not have my enhance back. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

Agreed, smart shuffle is a lot worse than Enhance. Really liked to see the added songs directly in the playlist.

100% agree to everyone's comments. Enhance was one of those features that I thought was the most creative thing that I had seen in a long time for a music app. I showed my wife a couple of months ago and she fell in love with it immediately. My app just started showing the new smart shuffle today. My biggest complaint is the same as the original post...now I don't know what's new and mixed in and I can't quickly add them. Please bring back enhance, Spotify!!

Just checked and Spotify has now changed it back from Smart Shuffle to Enhance again. Thanks heavens.

I completly agree. Just wrote with the support because I thought it was a bug. 

I really liked the option that you can see which songs are new in your list. So when I drive I can just skip songs which I don't like and later, when I have the time, I can choose which songs I like or hear only new songs, to see if they match my taste. That option is now limitid 😞

I still have smart shuffle, but when I log out and log back in on my iphone enhance will appear again until I close the app and then the next time it will appear with smart shuffle again. Very strange 🤔.

Smart shuffle arrived for a me a week ago and I really hope it will disappear soon with a future update.

My Question or Issue

In the past week they have taken away the enhance Playlist button and replaced it with smart shuffle. This is horrible!! Sure, I still get the songs, but it is hard to acutally add them the the Playlist and get more suggestions. Please fix this!! I'm paying $12 a month, and I shouldn't have to deal with my favorite features getting deleted!

I don't understand why they couldn't have both. 
I don't like the Smart Shuffle at all, but even adding this un-need feature, they didn't need to remove the feature I use the most.

1000% smart shuffle SUCKS enhanced was WAY BETTER who ever made that change at Spotify should be scrubbing toilets not making decisions bring back the enhanced button way more useful!

Totally agree, I simply hate smart shuffle ! Enhanced mode was great but this is such a bad idea. I simply can't understand why... At least, maybe allow us to disable/enable smart shuffle and enhancement.
