Some of my playlists emptied. I can still add songs to it and edit their names. Clearing cache didn't fix it. I tried in incognito and another browser, still it looks empty. Other playlists looks fine.
Hey @blabala22, thanks for asking in the Community! 🎵
Could you explain a bit more about the issue that you are facing? Are your deleted playlists still showing up, or even if you add content to a playlist, nothing is getting added?
You can also share a screen recording so I can better examine what's wrong. 🙂
They show up, I didn't delete them, I keep them in a folder just in case songs come back. I already said "I can still add songs to it and edit their (playlists) names."
There is nothing to record. Two of my playlists just doesn't have the songs it used to have, it became empty.
Hey @blabala22,
Thanks for the reply!
Sounds like the songs aren't just greyed out, but are not showing in the playlists at all, is that correct? Could you send us links to the playlists so that we can have a closer look? In case they're private, it'd be great if you can make them public for the time being while we check them and you can switch them back to how they were afterwards. Just keep in mind that you'll have to do that from the mobile or desktop app.
Since you mentioned using the Web Player, can you check for any pending browser updates as well as temporarily disable any browser extensions you might be using to see if that makes a difference. I'd also recommend testing out the desktop app to see if the songs show up there.
Keep us posted.
Death Stranding (Original Score) - playlist by Batu | Spotify this looks empty, even though it should have the tracks from this playlist Death Stranding (Original Score) - Album by Ludvig Forssell | Spotify , I carried it to my library, name of my playlist is the same but songs disappeared.
Thanks for returning with this info @blabala22 🙂
We had a look at your playlist, but it also appears empty on our end. Would you mind deleting it and creating a new playlist with the same name then adding the songs there and let us know if they then show up?
Since you previously mentioned that it was multiple playlists that would show empty for you, could you let us know if this is still the case? We need a bit more info in order to investigate.
If this is still happening with other playlists as well, please create new ones with the same names then add your songs there and confirm if they show in the newly-created playlists or the issue persists.
Lastly, we would really appreciate it if you could check for any pending browser updates, as well as test in the Spotify app (if it's possible) as suggested by @Dessi in this post.
We'll be on the lookout for your response.
It doesn't have anything to do with browser updates, like I said in my post, "I tried in incognito and another browser, still it looks empty."
I deleted the other emptied ones, because I thought maybe I was wrong maybe they were already empty, but now this playlist got empied and I am sure now that they were not empty.
Are you sure you want me to delete the playlist? That is the playlist that got empied after all.
Hey @blabala22,
Apologies for the confusion, no need to delete the playlist. Also, note that you can restore the deleted ones using these steps (provided they were deleted in the last 90 days).
Regarding the removal of tracks from the above playlist, we'd suggest checking the Manage Apps section on your Account Page and removing any 3rd party services that look suspicious or removing all just to be on the safe side (no worries, you can re-add them later).
If this happens again after doing the above steps, please let us know and share again a link to the affected playlist so we can investigate further.
Cheers,
90 days is not enough. I have hundreds of playlist. How do I know if one is emptied if I don't check it in 90 days?
There is no app in Manage Apps.
save-recover-playlists helps with deleted playlist. My playlist didn't get deleted. It got emptied. Songs are gone. Didn't you check the playlist at all?
Hey @blabala22,
Thanks for your response.
In this case, it's probably best to reach out to our colleagues from chat/email support, as they're the ones who can take a closer look at your playlists and find out what happened.
Let us know how it goes.
Now this playlist not only got emptied, it also got deleted https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2sOF5hJ4p0tazQflWVrh5H
I went to https://www.spotify.com/tr-tr/account/recover-playlists/ to recover the playlist.
There are also these playlists. I deleted them because they were emptied and spotify support didn't help. I got them back now just in case I found a solution.
I am not sure if this had songs in it https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6BSXxv4VNxMyAOz3GM3xfl
But I am sure this one had songs in it and it got emptied : https://open.spotify.com/playlist/08EybaKU9vEwNnziX4VsoR
I reached tech support, this is what they wrote "I will note this down for our colleagues. It should not take long, until everything is resolved and you will be able to enjoy your music again." I told them reach me from this post, so we'll see if they fix the issue or not.
This is a serious problem, why is no one helping?
