I am interested in becoming a Spotify Premium member but only one issue is holding me back. I would love to be able to stream Spotify to my Roku device. I have read that a Spotify channel is in the works and is actually at or near completion. Is this true and if so, when will it be made available. I would gladly become a premium member to receive it.
Thank you,
Neal

One thing about this puzzles me: why is the Roku app limited to use in the US, the UK, and Ireland?
I'm an American living in Switzerland, and have been a spotify premium subscriber for some time, as is my wife. We have a Roku device and would like to be able to stream through it, but we can't install the Spotify app because it's geogated. Why? On the face of it it makes no sense at all because either you have the rights for our region or not, regardless of which device we want to use.
Are there plans to update the Roku channel? As it is, I can't use the new Your Music feature because the Roku channel doesn't have it.
No mention has been made of partner hardware devices so I guess we just carry on relying on our playlists for now. Maybe we'll hear more once the rollout to desktop and mobiles has finished.
Forget this...
Playlists - Starred doesn't work on Roku Spotify.
I am unable to load my Playlist from my Roku device. It just keeps spinning and asking to wait. I have read the other posts about this and apparently the problem is not solved. The other programs on my Roku have no problem streaming. Looks like I need to go back to Amazon Prime to stream from my Roku device. Too BAD!
Spotify please clarify to your loyal subscribers: Are you going to return to having a channel on Roku or not? I have been continuing my subscription with you because I have hopes that you will get on Roku. I assume that you would WANT to get on Roku because your competitors are, and they are making you look like a third rate music service because they are available on Roku and you are not. If you are working to get a new channel, when do you project it to be in place? Thank you.
Thanks for the tip! MOG. There are hundreds of music apps available for download on Roku. Perhaps Spotify is afraid it would get lost!
