Spotify will not play on my Roku TV; froze on Spotify intro screen

Spotify will not play on my Roku TV; froze on Spotify intro screen

I have removed & reinstalled the app.  I have also made sure my TV is up-to-date & there are no firmware updates to install.  That being said, I still cannot get past the Spotify intro screen.  Please help!

We appreciate the time you took sharing the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried.

In this case, we’d suggest trying to unplug the TV and the Roku from the power source and restart your internet router. After a couple minutes, plug them back in and check if it happens again.

If the issue persists, could you try with a different connection if possible, like another WiFi network or a mobile hotspot?
