So you've got a Spotify account. And you've got a phone that's running on the Symbian operating system. But you can't get logged in!
If you've created an account through Facebook, you will need to create a device password. With this password, you should be able to get logged in on your phone!

I have a Nokia N97 min (symbian). I have used the offline mode succesfully for about 3 months. But for more than a week I cannot use the songs offline anymore. The thing is I log in with my regular devicecodes but it looks like I am not really logged in. Spotify says: songs not available offline. The names of the songs are visible (grey). please help me out. I hope I don´t have to use a totall reset!

Once someone gets to your case they should reply to your email address which is attached to your Spotify account. Since it is the weekend and some support staff won't be in, it might take a little longer than normal.

Im having the same problem (Not receiving E-Mail for creating a pwd for my account) and nobody contacted me since Monday. Spotify Fall # 00721118.
I have to say that if a company handles users with problems this way, they are not worth my money.
Hi Meredith, it's been over 48hrs now and still have not recieved the email that will allow me to create a password for my Symbian device. Have I done something wrong? I did try a couple of times because I was expecting it to be an instant response.. I have never come across a web form that isn't near on instant, or within the hour, is there any reason why I have to wait 48hrs+? I upgraded my service while on holiday so I could listen to my play lists, but still can't get in..

Also, if you make the request numerous times this will simply slow the process down. Please have a look in your Spam filter as well--just in case.

+1: not receiving an email for device password. have tried a few times over the last couple of days. email address that is confirmed as being sent to is correct. nothing caught in spam filter. device username is: 1231090765
@pencilcup - If you get in touch with support using the online contact form they can get a password email out to you manually, the automated system seems a bit tempermental at times.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

i had problems to login to my premium account in my nokia n8 (symbian)
i already get a new device password, but when i try to login from my N8 just do nothing. I put my username, my password and accept the agreement and nothing happen, just still show the login page and not show any error mesagge.

I have read the thread and followed the instructions (setting device password, reinstalling app etc) but still having no luck using sportify on my N8.
Any other tips?
SPotify works perfectly on my andriod and laptop but I want it on the N8 so I can use the fm tranmitter for my car.....
