Ok so I'm not sure where this message falls in the timeline of what's been shared so far, but the current situation for me is like this (I apologize if the menus options I'm going to list aren't the literal translation of the English version of the app, but I have it in Italian so they might be a little different):

 

Android app (v. 9.0.56.591 - Android 15, Samsung Galaxy A55 5G):

  • Unfinished: only shows not listened episodes. As soon as I hit play on an episode, it disappears from the list and I have to remove all filters and search through the whole podcast to find it again (original reason why I joined this thread). This was solved and came back at some point in the last few weeks.
  • Unplayed: not available.
  • In progress: not available.

 

Desktop app (V. 1.2.66.447.g4e37e896 - Windows 11):

  • Unfinished: not available.
  • Unplayed: also shows episodes in progress.
  • In progress: shows only a few of the recently finished episodes. I'm not sure but it seems like these are the episodes that I have listened to from the app since the last couple of updates.

So basically none of the available filters is doing what it is supposed to do in either version of the app.

Nothing changed for me on Android 9.0.62.622 and Windows 1.2.68.528.g50f97d42. It's the same as I described here

Thanks for your detailed report, appreciate the effort here! I've moved it out of the main thread since the issue differs slightly from the previous one and I've edited the title for clarity, hope you don't mind.

 

I've checked on my end and was able to reproduce the behavior both on desktop and mobile, however, today the Unfinished filter is working as expected on mobile, so this was probably a temporary hiccup on the backend. Can you check again and let me know if it works for you? Make sure you're on the latest version and try a clean reinstall if the issue persists.

 

Regarding the Unplayed filter on desktop, it's still showing episodes in progress on my end even after updating the desktop app, so I've now forwarded your report to the relevant team for further review. I'll keep you posted on any updates in this thread.
