Why are there ads I can’t skip

I pay the premium subscription and now it is almost impossible to skip ads while listening to podcasts.

That is completely unacceptable. I am paying to avoid ads and now you not only play ads (shockingly louder than I listen to podcasts, as reported by many others for years), but you also stop me from skipping forward. I am terminating my subscription. What a way to disrespect paying customers!
