Will Spotify ever fix the shuffle feature?

Will Spotify ever fix the shuffle feature?

I have a playlist with over a thousand songs on it and it will play the same 200-300 over and over again.  There are other songs that have haven't even been played yet or maybe once.  Upon research I see that many others like me have this problem.  The spotify reddit page has this same question asked almost on a weekly basis.  I don't understand how a company as large as spotify can keep going on without adressing this.  I am thinking about switching to apple music or something else because I am sick of paying $10 a month to listen to the same songs over and over again.  Just get a true randome feature, I don't see how hard that can be.  Just wondering if something will ever be done or if it's time to make a switch.

Tell me how I have over 4,000 liked songs and the same 5 play over and over again when I reshuffle (by clicking into a playlist, shuffling that, clicking back into liked songs, and shuffling again, which is SO convoluted bc spotify used to have a re-shuffle button rather than having 2 play/pause buttons (why we need 2 of the same button on the same screen?? to make us angry probably) but removed the re-shuffle button in order to chokehold free users into paying at the expense of the paid user’s experience, so now it takes about 6 extra steps and a solid extra 1-4 mins if we’re also waiting for smart shuffle to load after being unremovably forced upon us)
