My Question or Issue
Attempting to open the Spotify application on my Xbox One results in a failure to load, getting perpetually stuck on a grey screen. After attempting to open Spotify on the Xbox One, Spotify on both other devices (phone and laptop) will open but insist that it cannot connect to the internet until the Xbox One is turned off. It will not load any visual components and will refuse to play music. This does not happen while the Xbox One is on until I try to open Spotify on the Xbox One itself, at which point any music playing on any other device will cease. There are no issues with my internet. According to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status there is "limited" functionality for "cloud play," but the details claim that there should be no issue so long as I am accessing applications directly from the Xbox One, which I have been doing. Uninstall/reinstalling, turning the Xbox One on/off, and power cycling have all failed to change anything about the situation.
