My Question or Issue

'made for you' playlists list as 0 songs. Other playlists work fine as do podcasts. I've signed out, in, reinstalled the app, reset my phone, cleared the garmin sign in from Spotify and tried another premium account and the fault persisted on the watch. Garmin has suggested have suggested i contact spotify. Any other ideas? Currently using yt music but it's just not the same.

same issue on all folders like PLAYLISTS, RECENTLY PLAYED, and MADE FOR YOU

Hi folks,

Thanks for the replies.

We've made some changes backstage after extensive investigation and we're no longer able to reproduce this issue on our end. Please ensure all your devices and apps are fully updated and everything should be working once again.

If you continue to have similar issues, please let us know so we can look into this further.

Cheers!

I noticed some made for you playlist are working however some like "weightlifting mix" or "hype workout mix" are still showing 0 Tracks. I have Android 15 and Enduro 3.

It is still not working.

If it helps, you can contact me directly.

Still not working for me. I’m using v1.7.4 of Spotify on a venu 3 watch, and v9.0.62.672 of Spotify on an iPhone running iOS 18.5

Made for me playlists say zero songs on the Garmin, and then “Item is empty” when clicked into, despite having content on Spotify on my device.

Same issue for me too -- using v1.7.4 of Spotify on a vivoactive 3 music watch, and version 9.0.64.608 of Spotify on Samsung Galaxy S23 Android v15

Same here on new 965. All software and apps downloaded today.

Same issue on FR265s freshly installed

Hey everyone,

Our tech folks have made some updates backstage. Could you confirm if everything looks good on your end? Note that you may have to reboot your devices + reinstall the app in order for the changes to take effect, so be sure to try it out.

Cheers 🤘

I uninstalled the app from my watch, did a reboot and reinstalled it.
It is still not working.

Can we somehow help to debug this?
Cheers

Yes, still not working. sorry

Nope. Not working for me either. I've rebooted watch, reinstalled spotify,
rebooted again, and still all the playlists say zero items in them.

Still not working after reboot

Thanks for testing, folks!

I've forwarded the details to our tech team who'll investigate further. We'll keep you posted here as soon as we have any updates 👍

Yep, still the same. I have reinstalled the app on the watch, login etc.  same issue, playlists I create work fine and I can copy from ‘made by Spotify’ to a playlist I create and it works.
But ‘made by Spotify’ playlists still show 0 items.
It always used to work, it did for years, then an update a few months ago caused this issue.

Same on forerunner 165 music.
For this model there have been no updates of the spotify app since the release that broke the functionality (june 9th).

btw spotify: this is taking way too long to fix. Give it actual priority
