My Question or Issue
'made for you' playlists list as 0 songs. Other playlists work fine as do podcasts. I've signed out, in, reinstalled the app, reset my phone, cleared the garmin sign in from Spotify and tried another premium account and the fault persisted on the watch. Garmin has suggested have suggested i contact spotify. Any other ideas? Currently using yt music but it's just not the same.
I’m having exactly the same issue with the “Mase for You” playlists. In my case, I have an iPhone and a Garmin Fenix 7X Pro. The playlist appears empty when trying to sync from the watch.
Hey there folks,
Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.
Just to confirm, if you copy the songs from the Made for you playlist to a new one, do they appear? It'd be helpful, if you could check. On the desktop app, you can do this easily by going to the playlist > Ctrl + A > dragging the songs to a new playlist.
On another note, we'd like to know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update. That being said, it's also worth checking if the OS of your watch has any pending updates.
Keep us posted.
Copying it to a new playlist works, but new playlists require you to uninstall and reinstall, otherwise they also appear empty.
It still doesn't work
Hey folks,
Thanks for testing!

I am having the exact same issue with my forerunner 245 Music series number: 5UH508077, spotify version 1.7.3. All 170 BPM Mix / 170 BPM EDM Mix and similar "made for me" playlists are shown with 0 Songs. Is there anything to solve this?
It worked for me, but you have to copy ALL “made for” playlists to a new one.
There is definitely something about these “made for” playlists. Maybe it is an authorisation issue. 🤔
Same issue. A spotify created playlist is fine on iPhone and desktop but when synced down to Garmin the playlist is empty.
Watch Garmin Venu 3 - SW Version 13.19.
Iphone 15 Plus - iOS 18.4.1
Spotify on Garmin version 1.7.2
Spotify on iPhone 9.0.42
Anything here? 2 months later and it's still an issue? It used to work just fine.
Hi folks,
Our tech teams are looking into this. We'll keep you posted as soon as we have any updates, stay tuned!
Cheers 🤘
Latest update on my epix pro has just started causing the same issue. Has broken all my usual running Playlist.
Same issue on brand new forerunner 265. Can’t get any of my 4 main playlists to show any tracks.
Same issue since I got my Garmin Fenix 8. Any made for playlists appear empty on the watch even if there is songs on that playlist on Spotify on my phone/Mac.
@unorig i'm having exactly the same issue. There's plenty of songs in the playlist but on the watch it is showing as having none in it. I must admit, the Spotify app on the garmin watch (venu 3 in my case) has generally been pretty **bleep**. 1/10 would not recommend.
I am having the same issues. 'Made for you' playlists are showing a 'no content'. This happened after a recent update but I don't know if it was a Garmin or Spotify update.
I have the same issue on my fenix 7S.
Seemed to happen after it updated to 21.19.
Spotify version 1.7.3
Having same on my Fenix 7X, with firmware 21.19 and Spotify asp 1.7.3
Can't tell when it started as didn't use Spotify on watch for while but today when opening Spotify I needed to sign into Spotify in Garmin Connect after which found issue
Having the same issue on my Vivoactive 4. Spotify app wouldn't update so deleted and then re-downloaded. Wish I hadn't. All "Made for you" playlists appear to have "0 items". Spotify app version 1.7.4. Vivoactive firmware 8.30
