podcasts not playing on computer

Podcasts with adds are no longer playing on my computer. Not sure why. Tried turning off computer ad blocker, tried uninstalling and reinstalling spotify. No luck. Works fine on my phone.

In this case, we understand you've reinstalled the app, but we'd suggest you try with a clean reinstall on the affected device. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to podcasts not playing. You can find out the steps to do it here.

Since you mentioned you use an ad blocker, if you haven't, we'd suggest you disable it, for all apps on your computer, entirely to see if it makes a difference.

If the above doesn't do the trick, then we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

• The exact Spotify version you're running.
• Does this happen when playing a specific podcast? If yes, share the link to it with us.
• Do you use a VPN service? If yes, try switching it off. Keep in mind Spotify doesn't officially support VPN. This means that issues with the app while using VPN are expected behavior.
• Does this happen if you try to play a podcast using the web player?
