it is only on my one playlist tho… if anyone know please let me know thanks!
Hey there @fr3ak0nal3ash,
Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.
Currently, this option is only available on playlists you didn't create yourselves, including generated ones like Blends.
If you want this feature to be an option on other playlists as well, you can have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can give these steps a go and submit your idea so that other users can also support it. The higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented. Also, you can read more about how your feedback reaches Spotify here.
If this happens on one of your Made for you playlists, we suggest that you try logging out and then logging back in twice in a row. This will trigger a sync between your device and account.
Keep us posted.
Thanks i’ll try signing out!
Why is this feature still not implemented?
Maybe it worked 4 years ago.
It doesn't work now.
This is no longer working for me on desktop or mobile. this is a very useful tool for collaborative playlists when someone adds a stinker that I don't want to play for me.
Hi @surveychampion,
Thanks for reaching out.
As mentioned before, the "Hide song" option is for playlists you didn't create. So when it comes to a collaborative playlist, if you're added as a listener or just have it saved in your library, you'll have the option to hide a song. If you're added as a collaborator, you'll have the option to remove the song instead. If the behaviour has options disappeared recently, then perhaps there were some changes to the permissions. Try double checking that with the creator of the playlists.
Hope this helps.
Why can't you hide songs in your own playlist? It used to be an option, but now it's gone. I don't want to completely remove songs from my playlist because I still like the songs, I just want to hide them since they're constantly replayed.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
