Can I share an audiobook with others on my family plan?

I have an audiobook on Spotify. Can I share that book with my spouse who is on my family plan?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

Some audiobooks on Spotify are available in the form of podcasts and function in the same way, so they're pretty much accessible by anyone. Others, however, are only available as OTP (one-time purchases) and are stored in the current account. If you recently purchased an audiobook, you can still share it with your spouse and they can even play a sample of the audiobook, but they won't have full access unless they purchase it as well.

Have you wondered why no one ‘liked’ this response? If not, I’ll help you. Spotify needs to come up with a solution offering that allows a two user account to both have full access to audiobooks.

Give people with family plans a total of 50hr of audiobooks time or 2-3 books per member.
