Can’t add my daughter to family plan -“there is a problem, try later”

Can’t add my daughter to family plan -“there is a problem, try later”

Family Premium

daughter is already Premium duo and can’t join family plan. 

 

My Question or Issue

I upgraded to the Family plan so we don’t have to pay for four separate subscriptions. i had no issues adding my wife and other daughter who was on premium/duo.  Home address is the same. Keep getting the error message “there was a problem. Please try again later.”

Not very helpful!  Any ideas?

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

 

If your daughter is the Premium Duo owner at the moment, that'd explain why she can't join the Family plan right away. In this case, she'd need to cancel her subscription first, then wait for the account to revert to the free service. Once her account is on the free service, she'll be able to accept the invite. No worries, she won't lose any content when canceling the subscription, she'll just need to re-download her content once she has Premium again.
