My Question:

Hi, I recently moved to Brazil and want to join my family here's family plan. The problem is when I was in Australia this year I made a duo plan subscription but now when I go to update the country of residence it won't let me save the page without also adding an email address. This would be ok except It won't let me choose my current Spotify email address. It says it's already been used. Surely I can keep the same Spotify account and email address when I move countries?

Sorry meant to say I'm now on the free plan because I cancelled my duo plan thinking this would allow me to switch countries.

Thanks for reaching out.

If you're getting this error message, you're most likely trying to create a new account using the email address of your existing account. Please try instead to log in here using your email address in order to access your existing account and follow these steps to update your country settings.
 

Once you're done, simply ask the Premium Family plan manager to send you an invite and make sure to enter the correct address when accepting it.
