Can’t join family plan

My fiancée and I have been working to manage our finances and somehow I didn’t know she used a different service for music. She made a new Spotify account and I invited her to my family plan that I’ve had for years. When it gets to the address part we’ve copied and pasted the address down. Each time we do that the system tells us that the family plan is only for people in the same household although we do live together. Is there anyone that knows why it’s saying that?

I’d suggest double-checking that both your account and your fiancée’s account have the same country set. You can both check this at spotify.com/account.

Thank you for the suggestion and we did double check that but the error still occurred. Thank you for help, I will be contacting support.

Support basically told me that they couldn’t do anything from their part because it had something to do with my fiancé’s account. We created a new account for her and verified it with support but that didn’t work either. I ended up switching to a different streaming service.
