 Hi im currently registered to premium account family. One of the benefits is you can play music while offline right ? And u need to download the music first.. when i use/on my data connection/internet is there any deduction on my data balance even though i already downloaded the music/song?

Hello @Levagustin, welcome to the Community!

Offline songs are downloaded only when you're connected to a WiFi Network. No data is consumed when the song has already been downloaded. If I can give you some advice, put the offline mode in the settings of Spotify so you won't be able to listen to songs which have not been downloaded.

I have a different question, also about data usage.
My phone recorded that Spotify used 3,1gb data in 1,5 days. I'm the type of user that downloads playlists first, because that way listening without wifi will minimize the data usage. My provider keeps telling me that Spotify just uses a lot of data. But I'm using the app for multiple months now and never used this much data.
If I look back to the moments I used the app without Wifi, it is really not that much. Max. 2 hours a day (only use the app on my way to school and home, which is 30 mins.) Could Spotify really use that much data in 4 hours of streaming?
