My Question or Issue

Hello together, 

My daughter has a new phone. Spotify is on her old one via Family Premium.

Unfortunately, she no longer knows her password, and the email in her Spotify account is no longer valid, meaning she no longer has access to it.

Is there any way for her to change her email or password?

Or do I have to invite her with a new account? But then she'll lose all her playlists, etc.

Thanks for reaching out. I'll try to help.

 

In this case, if your daughter is still logged into her account on any browser, she could follow these steps to update the email address linked to her account to an active one. She can also try logging in with Google, Samsung, Apple or Facebook if her account was linked to one of these services.

 

If none of the above does the trick, I'd recommend reaching out to Spotify's Customer Support team here. Hopefully, they can take a look backstage and help you further.

But there you need your password to change the emailadress. I try the customer support.
