Family premium keeps switching devices

Family premium keeps switching devices

I have family premium but when my sister is playing music at the same time as me it plays on my device also even when I press listen on this device or continue.

Do both of you have your own separate accounts?

I have the same problem. The two accounts are different and we are paying the Family Account.

 

Same issue. I’m in my car streaming from my iPhone and when my wife starts playing something on Alexa it turns off my music in my car.  Very frustrating.  Why pay for family if you are only allowed to play on one device at a time!!!??

Thanks for the post.

 

On Spotify you can stream music on one device at a time per account. Since you have a Family subscription, we recommend connecting another Spotify account to your home devices like smart speakers/ TVs to avoid interruptions such as the one you described. 

 

This way you'll also avoid getting recommendations for the music your wife has listened to on the device, while your account was logged in.
