How to get Spotify to play the last song played in a playlist.

I have several playlists and play songs from them as I feel. However, when a re-select a playlist and play it, the first song in the playlist plays and not the last song that played. How to get Spotify to play the last song played in a playlist.

Thanks for reaching out. 

If you listened to a playlist and then came back after a while to that same playlist, the playback should be resumed from the same song you last listened to. However, this doesn't work if you played any other content outside of that playlist. Let's say you were listening to a playlist and then played your Liked songs. When you go back to the original playlist, there's no option to resume the playback. It only works if you don't play any other content. 

Now, it seems other users feel the same way, and an idea to add the feature has already been suggested here and here - feel free to add your vote to them!
