I cannot verify my address as the look up is defective - it needs fixing ASAP

I cannot verify my address as the look up is defective - it needs fixing ASAP

Your Family Premium arrangement is insisting I verify my address but it will not recognise anything like our address!  My husband and I share the Premium account and now you are going to kick me out because of your defective look up.  How do I fix this and not lose this paid for account??

Also having a similar problem. Won’t accept our address for some reason. Both kids being locked out. What is going on??

Same am having this issue!

Me too, my wife and one kid has been booted with a threat that they can never go back on. Also there's no way to talk to anyone to sort it out. This is incredible. I'm just going to switch to another provider.

Also having the same issue!

The owner of the family plan needs to change the address listed on their profile to something that can be found on the address search.

Older Spotify accounts seeming were able to enter an address that Spotifys new address search no longer recognises.

Change the address 👍

Estou com o mesmo problema. O endereço baixado dos meus dados da plataforma não não são aceitos pela mesma plataforma, Spotify.

I'm having the same problem!

Same issue, can’t find address, very frustrating, and can’t contact Spotify, poor service

Same issue here. My kids are trying to verify our address typed in exactly as it is in my account and it keeps saying it cannot find our address. We live in an apartment and don't want to use the generic address of the building because then anyone could use that address. Hubby is having the same problem. Please fix ASAP!

Ended up having to use the Chatbot to explain the problem, then say it wasn't resolved to get a live human support representative: https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-anonymous/

Our problem is that we live in an apartment and Google Maps would not show our apartment number in the address only the generic building address. Apparently, that is what you have to get all your family members to use- the Google Maps generic address. I updated my address through Spotify but the rep was still pulling up my old house address from two years ago as well. Now everyone is back on the plan and all the kids kicked off had to be reinvited, but open the invite in an "incognito" tab for it to allow them back in. It took over 30 min for them to figure this out. Good luck all.

Same problem, spotify doesn't recognize the address, and it is the correct one. And doesn´t work changing the adress. Please Help

I’m having a  similar issue. I put exactly the same address as my brother, it finds it (exactly the same writing) but it says that is wrong!

Hey there folks,

Thanks for reaching out and for the info shared.

We've looked into the cause of these issues and due to updates made by a third party provider, addresses that were previously available can become unavailable. While this isn't something we're able to change on our end, we discovered it can be resolved if the plan manager updates the address on their account page.

In case they can't find their specific address anymore, they can enter the nearest address that can be located. For example, if they can't find their apartment number, they can just select the building instead, or a close landmark, public space or building. Just don't use someone else's address.

If the issue persists even after that, since it could be account-related and we don't have access to users' accounts from the Community, we'd recommend contacting our Customer support directly so they can check the accounts and help you further. You can find out how to contact them here.

Hope this helps. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.
