My Question or Issue

I have Family Premium and was able to get my wife and son set up even when they weren't at my home in Hamilton, On. However, my daughter is having a lot of difficulty getting hers set up while she's away for a week. She's input my address just like my wife and son did, but she keeps being hit with the, "You need to live at the same address message." Am I/ did I/ did she do something wrong?

This error is likely caused by the fact that she's currently away for a week. Please have her try it again once she's back home. 🙂

Your post looks a bit cut off (the last part seems to be missing) but you could check on both accounts if the country setting matches at https://spotify.com/account

 

It'll only work if it's the same country setting on both accounts.

So it looks like my account is set for US since my payment method is at a PO BOX in Niagara Falls. When I tried to update the address and payment method to Canada I was unable to select Providences from the drop down menu only states. Even after inputing my card information, it wont allow me to change my billing address.

Have you tried the following steps yet?:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Under Account, click Update next to your payment method.
  3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region.

If those steps don't work for you, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end. Once it has ended, you can change your country setting through the dropdown menu here.

 

Once that's done, you can subscribe to Premium Family using your payment method that's been issued in the country you're currently in at https://spotify.com/premium.

 

Instructions on how to cancel and how that affects your account can be found at https://support.spotify.com/article/cancel-premium/.
