Tenía el plan familiar de 6 perfiles y ahora que compré el anual tengo solo 4, quiero comprar los perfiles adicionales pero no me sale nada para comprarlos

Thanks for the reply and the screenshot!

 

As @Vasil mentioned, you won't be able to buy additional accounts for your Family plan while you're still on an annual subscription, since it's counted as a one-time payment. As far as I can see on the screenshot, it looks like you've paid for a year ahead so I'm afraid that's when your subscription will become a recurring one if you've managed to change it.

Hola, si alguien me podria ayudar.

El año pasado compre un plan familiar (yo soy el administrador), y ahi el plan incluia 6 cuentas. Ahora cuando he renovado me indicar que solo es para 4 personas, pero que puedo comprar hasta 2 cuentas adicionales.

Sin embargo, no me aparece para comprar las 2 cuentas adicionales ahora que ya renové. Boto a 2 personas del plan familiar anterior que tenia.

 

Mi plan familiar anterior aun vencia en 2 dias (04/12/2024). Por si eso ayuda.

Hola tenia mi plan familiar para seis personas y al renovarlo no me deja adicionar a las  6 personas que tenia, ni tampoco me deja comprar lo adicional, mi cuenta esta activa desde antes de octubre de 2024 y en la pagina de spotify decía que no se modificarían los seis usuarios, sin embargo todo cambio y no puedo acceder a la compra de los adicionales. adjunto las capturas de pantalla.

 

 

 

Hello! I have the same problem. But in my case is for the 6 months plan. And there is no option to purchase additional accounts. I even bought myself a subscription because it said I needed one in order to purchase them, but nothing worked. I'm desperate.

If you don't see the option to buy additional accounts for your Family plan, then it's highly likely that you're not using a recurring payment method (to pay every month). If you've paid ahead for let's say 3, 6 or 12 months, then you won't be able to buy additional accounts, since this is counted as a one-time payment and not a recurring one.

 

As @Vasil mentioned in the thread already, your pre-paid subscription will remain active until it expires and then you'll be able switch to a recurring one. You can check out the actual post for more info on what can be done in this case.

Buenas, como puedo recuperar mi plan de 6 cuentas preimum familiar ya que por error se desactualizo el pago y al momnto de pagar ya solo esta el de 4 cuentas, yo vengo usando la app desde el 2023. POR FAVOR ESPERO QUE ME AYUDE

My Question or Issue

Hi! My family premium subscription was paused this month due to failed payment (unknown issue as to why it happened, but Spotify couldn't charge my previous credit card that's still active). I intended to update my payment, but when I was about to pay, the system showed that my subscription was 'Premium Individual' instead of 'Family.'. When I changed it to Family Premium and made the payment, the number of accounts went from 6 to 4, wasn't I supposed to have 6 slots? I've subscribed to Premium Family since 2018. Why did updating the payment require me to reset my subscription status from Individual to Family? Not only did I have to re-add my family members, but now the family slot is limited to just 4. Can support help me on this matter?

My Question or Issue

I renewed my premium family plan in <snip - Moderator Edit> eith the only one payment option and I had 6 members in my plan, the next day the renewal affects two of the members that were eliminated randomly.

I saw, in that moment that the terms & conditions of the family plan were changed, but i saw that one benefit that the new version  of the family plan are that I can add two additional persons to my plan, and I saw the option to do this.

But I do not see the option in any version of the app/account configuration where I can buy two more accounts to join my family plan.

 

Can anyone help me please!

You can follow the instructions outlined in this support article to buy more plan slots 🙂 Look for the section called "Comprar más cuentas para tu plan".

Hi @Maxim, I already tried that instruccions, but the option to "buy additional accounts" is not there android nor web version.

That the problem i have.

My Question or Issue

Recently I tried to buy another additional account since there is only 5 members in my plan, but whenever I tried to buy another additional account it redirects me to my account page instead of allowing me to update my payment. When I bought the additional account for the first time there wasn't any issue. Did the policy change again or is there it a bug?

Can you let me know if you're using a recurring payment method (e.g., credit card) to pay for your subscription every month or if you've paid using a pre-paid payment method for a longer term? 🙂

You can add or remove members on your account page. Try following these steps: 

 

On Android

  1. Swipe left or tap your profile picture.
  2. Select Settings and privacy.
  3. Tap Account, then select your Family plan.
  4. Under Plan members, tap Buy additional accounts.
  5. Select the number of additional accounts, and tap Continue.
  6. Select Update subscription.
  7. Choose your preferred payment method, and tap Complete purchase.

On web

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Under Manage your plan, click or tap Buy additional accounts.
  3. Select the number of additional accounts, and click or tap Continue.
  4. Select Change plan.
  5. Choose your preferred payment method, and click or tap Complete purchase.

 

If you're unable to do it, try it again from an incognito/private tab of a different device. 

If the issue persists, could you send a screenshot of options you get when you try to do it? Just make sure the pics don't include any private info.

The second option, I am using a prepaid payment method for one year,  my next billing day is in <snip - Moderator Edit>.

You can see it in the images attached.

Thanks for the update and for confirming your payment method.

 

Right now, only Premium Family plans with a monthly recurring subscription can add the 1–2 extra members. Since you’re using a prepaid method, that could explain why the option isn’t available on your end.

 

If you’d like to add more members in the future, you may need to wait until your current subscription runs out and then switch to a monthly recurring payment option.

i've tried several times to buy an additional account for my family plan, but after i input the amount of the acc rather than directing me to payment instead it keeps redirect me to my account setting page.
