My Question or Issue

A band I'm following releases a new song today and it's not in my Release Radar playlist. Is this an ongoing issue? Do Spotify techies know about this?

Hey there @steve54321,

Release Radar is a playlist of new releases recommended just for you. 

Updated every Friday with music released over the past few weeks, it includes artists you listen to most, plus some recommendations we think you’ll like. 

Release rader is an algorithm who works for you.

However it doesn't not mean each and every artist you follow would preject on it with their releases immidiatly when they're out.

Let it refresh itself and i'm sure you'll see the new release soon enough.

It's just a shame I can't know about releases of artists I'm following on the day of release, which seems to be the whole purpose of it. It seems hit and miss because on other ocasions releases were included in the Release Radar but this time the song didn't appear.
