Rivian accepts only one spotify account and it means I often can’t listen.

Rivian accepts only one spotify account and it means I often can’t listen.

My husband drives my daughter to school in my car. Rivian will only allow one Spotify account connected to the vehicle. So my podcast won’t play (at home as I’m getting ready for the day) when he is driving her to school. I have a family plan. Please help me solve for this. It’s super annoying as a long time paying customer to have my session ended because of my husband who is also on my family plan. If I’m paying for it - why end multiple sessions?

Hey there @Mmm_yeahhh,

Any account's playback can only be streamed from strictly one device at a time 🙂
As a workaround - your husband can connect his account to your vehicle when he is using it.
Alternatively - if it's possible, he can use a regular USB/ Aux/ Bluetooth connection to the car and stream by using his mobile device as a remote instead 🙌🏼

Hope this helps! We're here in case there's anything else.

It Spotify, not Rivian. Each family plan member must have their own account. The vehicle and home players are logged into the same account.
