My Question or Issue

Hi, I'm a premium member with lots of playlists made by myself. I'm thinking about add a family subscription but I'd like to know if I'll be able to share my playlists with all family members, so If someone create a new playlist, It will be easy for me accesing that playlist. I mean, I'd like to know if all family members will see my playlists (as I see them now), and all new playlist created will be accesibles too.

What about sonos and all playlists created by each family member? should I add all family members accounts to Sonos to access all playlist, or I'll be able to access anyone playlist (from my family) with my account?? thanks in advance.

Hi @davsify!

Thanks for bringing your query the Spotify community, folks here like myself are glad to help!
Any playlists that you have made in your current premium account will remain the same once you have changed to a family plan. You and your family members should all have access to the playlists as well. If you would like to know more about the family plan, you could have a look at this link

I'm not too familiar with how Sonos work but I'm sure one of the other community members would be more than happy to chime in.

Best wishes,

A

Hey there @davsify,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community!

On top of what @A_Musicophile mentions, you can find all the ways you can share your playlists with your family members here. You can also make collaborative playlists so all of you can share and contribute songs you like in one place 🙂

Keep in mind that their playlists won't show up in your account unless you've followed them. However, you can always look for any public playlists they've created by checking their profile page. There's more info regarding this in this support site article.

On another note, all your family members can use Sonos individually by following the steps provided in this support site article. You can then connect wirelessly with Spotify Connect or Airplay and locate and play any of your family members' playlists from the app.

Let us know how you get on! We'll be happy to help further if you need a hand with anything else.

Have a lovely day 🙂
