My Question or Issue

Spotify Family goes on and off premium on my daughter's app.

We've had Family for many years, which has worked perfectly. However, I recently missed a payment, which caused everyone to be logged out of premium.

I then started it again with a new card, I thought, but it was then a normal premium.

The next day I upgrade to Family and send them all an invitation with a link by email, so they can get back on.

My daughter no longer has access to her old email address, which was the one she used to create her spotify with. She has a different/new one today. She uses the link in the email, but now her spotify app switches between being on premium / not on premium.

Very strange.

She would rather not start over, since she loves her playlists.

What can we do?

If she's trying to use the link sent prior to her email address update, then it might not be working correctly.
Try sending a new invitation to see if it would make a difference 🙂
In case it doesn't, she can reach out to out support folks via this link so that they can check her account backstage and see if there's anything preventing her Premium from remaining on the account.
