Spotify starts with same song

I use Spotify on an Ipod 7. Since yesterday Spotify starts with the same song after it hasn't been used for an hour or longer.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

What's the iOS version of the iPod? Could you check if there is a setting to enable background refresh for Spotify? This works on iPhones, so maybe it brings a change on the iPod as well.

Also make sure to have turned off any battery saving modes.

Hi, the problem seems to be solved for now. I've deleted the song in question and restarted Spotify. That seems to have done the trick for now. Thanks for you reply.
