Trying to add girlfriend to family plan, she used prior address instead of ours

I added my girlfriend who lives with me to my family plan, but she used her old address at her parents because it was/is her billing address for her credit/debit cards and she thought she would be paying for her usage, which she isn't, I am. Then Spotify took her off my plan, and now I tried to re-add her to the plan but when she types in our current address it doesn't work and says unable to join.

Just to confirm, is your girlfriend seeing an error message when trying to join your plan?


If not, we'd suggest trying resending her a new invitation, however, make sure she accepts it in an incognito or private window in her browser. Here's how to do that:

  1. Open an incognito or private window in your browser.
  2. Have the owner invite you to their plan.
  3. You'll receive an email with a link to join. Open and click ACCEPT INVITATION. You're redirected to your account page, where you'll see a confirmation screen.
    Note: If you're not already logged in to your Spotify account yet, you'll be asked to log in before seeing the confirmation.
  4. Enter your details and click SUBMIT to join the Premium for Family plan.
